And relax....

Well almost! Had an appointment this lunchtime with my gynaecologist for the results of my blood test and chest x-ray following my Partial Molar Pregnancy. The blood test showed that I have zero levels of the hCG hormone so that is good news as it means it definitely hasn't spread. Unfortunately and it does always seem to be the way over here, the x-ray people hadn't got back to the Gynae people so no x-ray results as yet, but there is unlikely to be any problems with me having a zero hCG level. The doctor told me that once I produce another 3 negative tests then I'll be given the full all clear, so hopefully, fingers crossed, we can start to try again early next year for another baby which is pretty much as we'd planned anyway.

I also just wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you again to everyone who took the time to leave a message on here, Twitter and Facebook, they were most appreciated.

Anyway, hopefully that is the end of all the stress for this year, it's been a shitty one to say the least and one I will be looking to forget very quickly. It's my birthday next week and I must say that I haven't looked forward this much to getting a year older since my 18th. I am hoping that the next year will be full of good fortune for us, we are certainly due some.

So for now I am going to relax, take it easy and enjoy my birthday and Christmas and as they are fond of saying around these parts.... tranquilo!
